Data Deletion Policy

This page explains how to delete your ChargeMyCar account and the personal data we hold about you. We honor every deletion request in accordance with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, India's DPDP Act, and Apple's App Store guidelines).

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the ChargeMyCar app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and associated data are scheduled for permanent deletion immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address registered with your account to:

Please include the email or Apple ID associated with your account so we can verify and locate it. We respond and confirm deletion within 30 days; in most cases it completes within 7 days.

A small amount of data may be retained after account deletion for legitimate legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons:

Subscription cancellation is separate

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your active subscription with Apple. To stop billing:

Cancel before deleting to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.

Third-party services

We use Firebase (Google), Apple Sign-In, and Google Sign-In for authentication. When you delete your ChargeMyCar account, your authentication tokens with these providers are revoked. To remove the app's access from your Google or Apple account directly, visit:
